Day 1 - Let’s get grounded
Today is all about getting grounded for the week ahead to help you set a firm, but gentle foundation to explore from. It’s also a really great way to practise pausing and checking in with yourself (which we can forget to do when life gets busy).
The focus is on using both the image and physical sensation of grounding through our feet as a true stabilising force. It’s a really simple, but powerful practice. I really love the feel of letting my bare feet sink into grass or sand or water, but you can also do the exercise inside (and with socks or shoes on!).
Today’s grounding is also about reflecting on things that really support you, which you’ll explore in the reflection exercise.
Each meditation is about 5-6 minutes and the reflections will normally take 10-15 minutes. As suggested yesterday, you can do them back to back or separate times. Make it as easy for yourself as possible!
