Day 6 - Something so delicious
We’re going to do a little taster today exploring the sensory side of eating or drinking something delicious.
This is one you can do with something you’re already planning to eat, drink or cook.
We often eat in a really distracted way or out of habit without really paying attention to what we’re eating or drinking. This is a chance to tune into how our senses can be a bigger part of the experience.
It’s also a great example of how meditation and mindfulness can be part of things we’re already doing, which is perfect for busy days (and weeks and years!).
I suggest choosing a few really tasty mouthfuls for the meditation and reflection. I often do this with a piece or two of chocolate of course!
For today’s exercise we’ll focus on one sense, but we’ll be going a little deeper into more sensory tasting during Sunday’s hot chocolate meditation.
