Welcome to Cocoa Magic

I’m really looking forward to spending the next week with you!

Today is all about setting yourself up for the week ahead and
also giving yourself a little space to think about what you’d like to get out of Cocoa Magic.

My suggestion for today is to take your time making a lovely cup of hot chocolate, enjoy sipping it slowly and
then have a look at the short reflection questions for today (on page 2 of the PDF below).
You might also like to write some thoughts down.

Each day you’ll receive an email that will link to your Cocoa Magic meditation and reflection for the day.
You can also go to the Cocoa Magic homepage at any time to see everything listed there
(each day will become available as we progress through the week).

Please remember everything is an invitation and you’re never ‘falling behind’. If you can’t do something on the day it’s released or
prefer to come back to it on another day, you’ll still have access to all the meditations and reflections after the week finishes.

If you have any questions at all during the week you can drop me an email at meredith@foodatheart.co.uk.
There’s also a comment section on each day’s page if you’d like to share anything about your experience
with the wider group (but this is of course totally optional!).

What will you need for the week?

  • your hot chocolate (for today and the hot meditation on Sunday 29th - and you might also like to enjoy a cup or two during the week)

  • a notepad & pen - or you can print out the PDF worksheets and write on these - or you can type your reflections if you prefer!

  • an open, curious and kind mind

Looking after yourself during Cocoa Magic

It’s really important to take care of yourself this week.
Sometimes when you slow down and start paying attention, both in the meditation and exercises, difficult or challenging emotions might come up for you.
One option is to choose to turn towards these feelings, observing and acknowledging them (and they may even come up in your written reflections).
However if the feelings are really challenging or uncomfortable, please stop the exercise and take a few breaths, go for a short walk or have a nice cup of tea/hot chocolate.
You only ever have to let in as much as feels comfortable.

If you have any concerns, please send me a message at meredith@foodatheart.co.uk.
