Join us for a nourishing day of movement, stillness and sensory connection (and a dash of hot chocolate).

Over the course of the day we’ll give you the chance to slow down and connect, and refill your cup for the months ahead as we slip into the new season.

The morning movement will help get you more grounded & build strong energy foundations. In the afternoon our focus shifts to mindful sensory exploration and reflection.

The retreat will be hosted by Meredith Whitely & Rosie Slay in the creative setting of Mid Wales Arts Centre.

The day includes:

  • a grounding deep yoga experience

  • an insightful breathwork session to support health and wellbeing

  • meditations & reflections sprinkled across the day

  • a reflective hot chocolate session, incorporating a short sensory meditation and intention reflection & setting for the season ahead

A light vegetarian lunch at the cafe at Mid Wales Arts Centre is included. You can let us know any dietary requirements when booking. 

We appreciate that barriers and structural inequalities can prevent people taking part in training like this (including being on a lower income, being a carer or a volunteer). We're therefore providing two bursary spaces at £20for the day offered on a 'no questions asked' basis.

We also have a Pay What You Can option (either once the bursary spaces are filled or if you'd like to attend, but aren't currently able to pay the full price). A few little tips for the day...

  • This workshop is suitable for new and experienced yogis & meditators

  • You'll be most comfortable if you wear loose clothing. Please bring your own yoga mat (or let us know if you need us to provide one for you). Also please feel free to bring cushions, shawls, or a spare jumper!

  • You may like to bring your favourite notebook & pen to capture reflections across the day

If you're travelling from outside Mid Wales, accommodation is available to book at Mid Wales Arts Centre.

Cancellation policy:

- You can cancel up to & including 21 days before the retreat (midnight Saturday 1st Mar 2025) and we will refund the full amount
- If you cancel 14-20 days before the retreat (midnight Saturday 7th Mar 2025) we'll refund 50% of your payment
- Unfortunately if you cancel less than 14 days before the retreat (after Saturday 7th Mar 2025) we won't be able to refund your payment

Your Hosts

Rosie has been teaching yoga for over eight years and enjoys sharing this compassionate and grounding practise with her students. This retreat will reflect the full range of Rosie's experience, from dynamic yoga flow to soothing restorative poses. You can find out more about her work at Rosie Slay Yoga.

Meredith is a meditation teacher, chocolatier & chocolate awards judge. She brings together chocolate and mindfulness as a delicious way to help support wellbeing. Her gentle sessions are grounded in mindful eating, mindful self-compassion and her passion for all things cacao. She loves sharing delicious ways to help you reduce your stress levels, and get more connected with your body & mind.
